Wales Perfumery is an independent fragrance house in the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire, and Wales' first fine fragrance house. Founded in 2019 by Paris-trained perfumer Louise Smith, it was born from a simple belief: that fragrance should be personal, evocative, and rooted in place.

 

Working from her laboratory overlooking a stunning 500-year-old walled garden in Monmouth, Louise blends classical perfumery technique with a deep love of Welsh history, landscape, and story. Every fragrance she creates is crafted entirely in Wales, using quality ingredients, and is designed to evoke a specific emotion, memory, or sense of place.
