ÅND FRAGRANCE x Careys Secret Garden
Founder and Perfumer Simon Constantine launched ånd fragrance in 2020. At the same time rediscovering a Victorian walled garden hidden away in the depths of Dorset. This wild, walled spot known as Careys Secret Garden, has now become a centre for scent, sustainability and a quiet refuge for many.
Home to South Englands only breeding pair of Osprey visitors can straddle between the rich and varied planting of the walled gardens (including scented roses, citrus, herbs and flowers) and the wilderness beyond the walls with examples of positive ecological stories to tell.
Simon is excited to be able to bring both these worlds together in one space at Barnes fragrance fair this year offering an array of both ethical fragrances and homegrown aromatic plants to help you establish your own living perfume garden at home.
According to Simon "ånd fragrances are formulated from the highest quality, carefully sourced, exquisite ingredients. But everyone says that sort of stuff. ånd is different though. Very different. ånd is regenerative.
Supporting communities whose voices need to be heard at this time of ecological and climate crisis. The fragrances connect us in a very real way to real people and places on the planet that although sometimes remote, endangered or otherwise inaccessible, are of crucial value to humanity and the challenges we collectively face.
